24 March 2014 marked the first anniversary of the opening of St. Catharines Hospital in Ontario, Canada.

Since the St. Catharines site opened, several thousands of patients have profited from the new and expanded regional services in this state-of-the-art facility.

Ian Dickson, the principal of ID/Lab Canada worked closely with Plenary and with the architectural team – B+H Architects/ Silver Thomas Hanley – to develop the wayfinding strategy and design the wayfinding signage on St Catharines hospital in Niagara, Ontario.

Careful consideration was given to integrating interior finishes with wayfinding elements. The effect delivers a cohesive visitor experience that supports NHS’ vision for a modern state of the art health facility for the Niagara Region.
